Watching movies and collecting LaserDiscs were a favorite pastime Michelle shared with her Dad, who was technically her first DP she'd ever worked with evident from the precious collection of baby videos on VHS. After a summer obsessing over Pirates of the Carribean and Johnny Depp's iconic Jack Sparrow, Michelle dove deep into the curiousities of film acting. After completing her BFA in Theatre Performance, Atlanta happened to be booming in the film industry. It became obvious that Georgia would be a good start to pursue film and theatre while also being close to family. She has worked countless productions in television, film, commercial, and other divisions, and has worked both in and out of Atlanta.

Michelle was granted the title "Thespian" as a good ol' theatre kid in high school. It was during her four years of theatre classes and afterschool productions where she found her confidence in pursing acting as an actual career. She surprised herself after rounds of college auditions that the interest in this suburban Asian theatre girl was real (receiving the most callbacks out of her class)! Whether it was a diversity interest or not, Michelle found comfort knowing that she could perhaps carve a career through roles that would hopefully reflect her full self instead of having to mold herself into the status quo characters and narratives she'd always see represented on scripts, stages, and screens. Michelle received her BFA in Theatre Performance at Columbus State University, and took additional study abroad credits in Florence, Italy and Oxford, England. She's since taken local and out of state contracts. Theatre will always be her home.

After building interest on becoming more spontaneous and comfortable with photoshoots, Michelle has built a portfolio with some incredible photographers, makeup, and hair artists ranging from creative and themed concepts to editorial looks.
